Senior Account Manager

Apartment Therapy Media is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join us in our fun and sunny Soho office! The Senior Account Manager will lead the Account Management team in support the Advertising Sales team through the planning, implementation, and execution of sold sponsorship programs.   They will also ensure the Account Management team is operating optimally and also communicate directly with key clients.  They will lead the support of the sales team with all aspects of the post-sales process. This role requires excellent communication skills and comfort with interfacing with internal and client teams.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement systems that aid in every step of the successful planning, management and execution of advertizer campaigns and relationships
  • Oversee every step in the Account Management lifecycle, from RFP to campaign reporting
  • Onboard and continually train Account Managers to ensure best practices are being followed
  • Responsible for alignment of Account Management team to ensure cohesive strategy and workflow
  • Develop, document and enforce best practices to support company wide organizational revenue
  • Report any deviation from client/agency IOs and collaborate with Operations & Finance for an optimal solution in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaise between Account Management and other necessary departments for successful campaign execution
  • Assure pricing is consistent with product rate card
  • Aid in the assembly of cost effective, advertiser minded media plans
  • Lead the successful execution of key advertiser partner programs
  • Partner with our Sales Development team to manage custom programs and make recommendations for optimizations

 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5 years of digital advertising support experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising processes on both the buying and selling side
  • Strong understanding of DFP. Must be able to accurately check inventory availability and pull campaign reporting
  • Familiarity with DFA and other ad delivery and tracking systems a plus
  • Strong understanding current digital marketplace trends
  • Strong understanding of advertising measurement tools and success metrics.  Specifically, must be comfortable with media math and the ability to calculate CPM with accuracy.
  • Self-starter and team oriented important requirements
  • strong Excel skills
  • Prior experience with Salesforce
